One of our great workers photographed this frog in the Park last week. Known as the Southern Bell it is an Australian native which arrived in New Zealand in the 1860's. While it is endangered in Australia it is not protected here and has established itself throughout the country. A DOC specialist tell us they are harmless to our environment and very noisy!
